This intricately carved soap dish is hand crafted from marbled soapstone. It features a two piece design with a removable top piece for easy cleaning. Drain holes in the top piece also ensure that your soap doesn't disintegrate or stay "mushy" by sitting in excess water.
Soapstone (also known as steatite) is a soft, metamorphic stone. It has been used and loved since the age of the Vikings, who carved it into cooking pots and vessels.
This dish measures 4.5" x 3.25" x 1.5."
Handcrafted by Fair Trade cottage industry partners in India.
*Note: Each piece of soapstone is unique. While your piece will be very similar to the product image, slight variations in color may occur.
